RSS Feed issues
« on: November 19, 2011, 09:40:35 AM »
When  attempt to subscribe to a feed [as an example:
http://expressionwebforum.com/index.php/board,2.0.htm, I receive the error: Address is not valid.  The Properties of the Subscribe to our RSS feed it points to the address: http:///

This occurrs on my primary work station [Windows 7 Pr with IE 9] and an alternate [Windows XP with IE 7].  Both are running Microsoft Office 2007.

Is tfhere anything that can be done.

Thanks ahead of time

What browser or feed reader please? I went to the page you linked to then scrolled to the bottom of the page, clicked on the rss feed and it displayed in IE 9. From there I used the subscribe link and it was added to my feed list without any errors.

Cheryl... I am using Internet Explorer V9 on one workstation and Internet Explorer V7 on another.  Both use the RSS Feed function within Outlook 2007.

Going to the bottom of the page and clinking the RSS there, worked [I did not try this one before your responce].  I used the RSS option at the top of the page [see attached].

Thanks four your help...

TJ Casey

Interesting, I'll have to check on that link when I have time. On the other hand when I have time I'll upgrade the forum to the newer version and that may resolve the issue anyway.

Thanks for letting me know about the problem.
